There are few visionaries who changed the landscape of startup ecosystem in India. Mr. Sanjeev Bikhchandani is one of them. He is an Indian businessman, who is the founder and executive vice chairman of Info Edge which owns Naukri.com, a job portal, as well as the co-founder of Ashoka University. He was honored with the Padma Shri, India’s fourth-highest civilian award, in January 2020 (wiki)
He was invited at FounderX Convocation as a Chief Guest. I got a chance to him after a long time. I remember when I was running MeriCAR, I pitched him for funding and their team invested into Zomato at that time in 2010.
At FounderX convoation, he said – “I respect more entrepreneurs because If a startup fails, an investor just failed in one startup in their portfolio, but the founder failed his/her life and has a bigger risk“.
FounderX by Inc42 nurtures founders and prepares them to start their new ventures and become an entrepreneur. I met great founders in this batch. I am mentoring some of them from this cohort.
