The Conquest’24 Launch Event was a spectacular gathering at The Circle Work, Gurgaon on April 13th, igniting powerful conversations and connections. This event also kicked off registrations for the 20th edition of Conquest.
The evening featured an insightful fireside chat with Rakesh Verma founder of MapMyIndia moderated by Nemesisa Ujjain. Mr. Verma shared an inspiring and detailed account of his journey as an entrepreneur, tracing his path from the early days of conceptualizing MapmyIndia to becoming a leader in digital mapping technology.
“Customer is your investor, we run MapMyIndia in a bootstrapped way” said while emphasizing on focus on customer-centric approach and earn from them to run the company rather outside investor.

Rakesh Sidana was associated with MapmyIndia in the early days of MeriCAR.com Listening to Rakesh Verma Sir after a long time is a great experience to know their struggle to stay focused even when there are elephants in the competition 🙂 and maintaining corporate governance and true purpose to yourself. Great lesson for every startup at the event.
